Swanborough Funerals provides a full range of funeral services, including burial and cremation options. Many Logan families now choose cremation, either privately or followed by a memorial service at a later time. Others prefer a more traditional burial service. There is no right or wrong choice only what feels appropriate for your family.
Cremation First

A private cremation, with no service at this time, allowing families to farewell in their own way or hold a memorial gathering later if they wish.
This option is suited to families who prefer a simple and private approach, with cremation arranged quietly and respectfully and no formal service at this time.

Care of your loved one in our mortuary, carried out with dignity and respect

This option allows families to gather privately in our chapel for a quiet and meaningful farewell, with flexibility around whether the gathering takes place before or after cremation.

Three songs of your choice, with gentle background instrumental music

Personalised Cremation

A cremation service built on the same respectful foundation, with the flexibility to hold the ceremony at a church or alternative venue and personalise every aspect if you wish.
This option suits families who would like a more tailored farewell that reflects their loved one’s life, values and wishes. The service may be held at a church, chapel, crematorium or another meaningful location.
Personal touches often come from both the family and our funeral directors, and may include ideas not listed above, as we take time to listen, learn about your loved one, and gently suggest ways to reflect their life, if you wish.
What this allows:

Choice of coffin or casket
Floral arrangements
Order of service booklets
Pictorial tribute or slideshow
Livestreaming and recording of the service
Choice of music and readings
Hearse and additional vehicles
Memorial books or keepsakes
Professional guidance, respectful care, coordination of arrangements and a complimentary online memorial tribute are included, as with all services.
