Passed away peacefully on Saturday 25th May 2024.
Dearly Loved Husband of Dr. Naglaa Fahmy,

Virgin Mary Coptic Orthodox Church, 2 Hamish St, Calamvale QLD
on Wednesday 29th May 2024, commencing at 11:30am.
Liebe Naglaa,
ich bin tief erschüttert, von Nabils Tod zu lesen. Ich möchte Dir und Deiner Familie hier meine tief empfundene Anteilnahme an Eurer Trauer mitteilen.
Ich kenne Nabil aus der Zeit, Ende der 1960er Jahre, als wir, das sind Yusuf Abdallah, Kasai, Gabi und andere im AWO Heim in der Hartmeyerstrasse 2 in Tübingen gewohnt haben. Der Kontakt zu diesen Freunden hat mich sehr geprägt und mein kulturelles und politisches Weltbild erweitert.
Liebe Naglaa,
ich habe mit Bestürzung von Nabils Tod gelesen. Ich möchte Dir und Deiner Familie hier meine innige Anteilnahme an Eure Trauer über diesen schmerzlichen Verlust mitteilen.
Ich kenne Nabil seit dem Ende 1960er Jahre als ich zusammen mit anderen Freunden, Yussuf Abdallah, Kasai, Gabi und anderen im Studentenwohnheim der AWO in der Hartmeyerstrasse 2 in Tübingen gewohnt habe. Es war eine prägende Zeit für mich, sowohl kulturell als auch politisch. Ich erinnere mich an die gemeinsamen Essen, Ausflüge und viele interessante Diskussionen. Ich bin 1978 in die USA gegangen, wo für mich ein neuer Lebensabschnitt begonnen hat. So ist auch der Kontakt eingeschlafen, aber in der Erinnerung haben mich die Freunde von damals immer begleitet.
Liebe Naglaa, ich wünsche Dir von Herzen, dass dir schmerzvollen Gefühle und Gedanken bald einer dankbaren Erinnerung weichen. Ich werde für Nabil beten.

Our dear Nabil, you have gone to a much better place, may God repose your soul in the paradise of heaven. We will miss you and will always remember you as a brother in law, a cousin and a friend. God bless you.

On this morning, we bid farewell in the Hope of Resurrection our 🎚️Dear and Beloved Uncle Dr. Nabil🎚️ beseeching Our Lord of Glory to repose his Pure Soul in the Bosom of our Holy Fathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the Paradise of Joy, the place out of which grief, sorrow and groaning have fled away in the light of His Saints 🕯️
We will miss you ❣️ so much, say Hiii to Dad, Uncle Tony and all Our Beloved ❤️ watching on us from Heaven💫
May the lord reposes his soul and may he rest in heaven Amen
